Annie participates every year in two projects: BurningMan Opera and her own unique, personal projects. The first set of photos is a piece that honored Princess Diana, who had died the previous night. With the help of others Annie constructed two breasts. During the day they released water from the nipples and at night, in Burning Man tradition, they were burned to the ground.

Annie made numerous contributions to the Opera including the Minotaur and masks for the Moonbull and Monkey standard-bearers. She herself inhabited the Sun Thar-Taur of the Sunsnakes. Part of that costume is visible as the dominant element in this Sunsnake altar.
